I print out a lot of images when I'm designing so its not like I can go without a printer.
Jay bought us a new Epson wireless printer. Now we don't have to fight over the cord (we never really did) so I guess wireless is 'better'.
So far, I hate it.
You know what you get with wireless? You get non stop interference from the company. Every fookin' time I want to print something, the stupid thing says there's a 'communications error', which inevitably turns out to be new software that needs to be downloaded into the dam thing. This involves putting our wifi password into the machine repeatedly. This takes time.
Bottom line: every single thing I've tried to print since we installed this printer in the house has taken upwards of ten minutes to print, and up to three sheets of wasted paper and ink.
Plus, when it finally prints, it prints the image smack in the middle of the page, which means no more than two images per sheet. My crappy old wired printer could get up to four images on a sheet.
This new thing is neither economically nor environmentally efficient and it's pixxing me off.
Just saying'.
