They’re older than at least four of the victims who were on the planes that were flown into the buildings on September 11, 2001.
They were born on a day in which America gasped in horror and Islam danced for glee.
It doesn’t really matter how much good a religion, a philosophy of life, a set of principles or values does for you if it also allows you to plan, execute and celebrate the attack that had fellow human beings throwing themselves off the 110th floor over the streets of Manhattan.
It’s like saying “The dinner was excellent but for the poison in the wine; I give it four and a half stars!”
What breaks my heart is that 14 years on, the US has gotten very good at pretending that 9/11 was a one off. An aberration, a bad hop…
I fear that we are like Japan between the bombs; sure they did it once but no way will they try that again!
Pray for the victims of 9/11, the victims of terrorist attacks in London, Spain, Paris and Amsterdam. Pray for Christians being slaughtered in the Middle East on a daily basis now. Pray for Israel. Pray for the United States, that we who are lost will find our way back. This part is easy.
Now for the hard part; pray hardest for the Muslims. If they win, they’ll be lost forever.
Try to be a light in the darkness.
