Forget Hillary Clinton.
Forget Donald Trump.
Neither party is thrilled with who their candidates turned out to be this election but it doesn’t matter: the candidates are only a distraction. What matters, the only thing that matters is what they stand for.
No one seems to realize that consciously but emotionally, they do.
If she wins, Hillary Clinton will be the first woman to be elected President of the United States.
“I’m the president! Whee!”
Very few of her supporters actually care that she has a vagina. They think they do but they don’t: they care that she is a Progressive.
Those who support her because she’s a woman are the very same folks who excoriated Sarah Palin, smearing her as stupid, uneducated and parochial. They preferred to pretend that she was a liar, covering up the ‘shame’ of her daughter’s illegitimate son by claiming him as her own than to see an accomplished woman who would choose to bring forth a baby with Down Syndrome. Feminists proved back in ’08 that there’s only one ‘choice’ to be made if you expect female solidarity.
Conform or die; that’s always been the unspoken mantra of Progressivism.
Always.
Make no mistake: the foundation stones of Progressivism are Eugenics, abortion, euthanasia and the atheism that makes all those positions permissible in the human mind.
Human rights are only for those of us who measure up to their standards of ‘human’: healthy, useful, productive and compliant. All others can be eliminated in the name of the Greater Good. In order for genocide to be accomplished, those committing it first must convince themselves that it’s necessary. Whether its in the name of the workers, the cultural revolution or Islam, those who would force the rest of the world to conform or die always believe that they’re the good guys.
Margaret Sanger was a racist eugenicist and a nymphomaniac who believed that sexual intercourse was the only activity worth engaging in and that it was a crime against humanity to bring into the world children who were less than perfect, healthy, planned and white.
Black Lives Matter greatly to the abortion industry; eliminating them has always been the prime directive.
Since the 1980s, economic growth in the USA has averaged between 4% and 5%. Some of that was based on the false economy brought about by the housing bubble, which broke in ’08. Without the policies that brought about that crash, lets assume USA growth would have been between 3% and 4%.
Since Obama was elected, right after that crash, our growth has never topped 2%. Unemployment is only counted in single digits because the government doesn’t count those who have given up looking for full employment. An adult who had a full time job before ’08, who now makes ends meet by holding two part time jobs is counted as a net gain of one job. That’s nuts. But it works for Progressives: the ideology is that it’s better to rule over a crippled, needy people than to govern a prosperous, productive nation.
Progressivism has a lot in common with Munchausen’s by Proxy.
So if you think 2% economic growth, coupled with an amoral culture that decides on a whim who is human enough to qualify for human rights, vote Progressive. Vote Hillary Clinton.
“Stronger Together” really means “Conform or Die”.
Conform or Die: if you’re a pro-life woman, you’re not a real woman.
Conform or Die: if you’re an African American who doesn’t vote straight Democrat ticket, you’re not an authentic black.
Conform or Die: if you’re a Gay person who believes in small government and traditional marriage, you’re not a real Gay.
Conform or Die: if you think its impossible to remain a free people while depending on your government for health care, you’re not a real Christian.
Conform or Die: if you recognize the difference between legal and illegal immigration, you’re not a real American.
Conform or Die: if you’re not on board with the ever changing definitions of ‘racism’, ‘rape’, ‘sex’, ‘gender’, ‘micro-aggression’, ‘bullying’ etc, you’re just a HATER.
And therefore, its okay to hate you.
Why should we accept their definitions?
Back in the 90s, it wasn’t merely his policies that made me loathe Bill Clinton.
In fact, in retrospect his policies were merely dumb, not dangerous and lawless, like Obama’s. No, what rendered me incapable of listening to him was the way he lied about anyone who disagreed with him, maliciously setting Americans against each other by painting all opposition as having the worst, basest motives possible.
Don’t want NAFTA (which has been denounced and repudiated by the entire Left, including his co-president First Lady)? Then you must hate Mexicans!
Don’t like the idea of relaxing Military standards and training? Then you’re a homophobic misogynist.
He admitted to loathing the military himself but when he set about destroying it, those who opposed him were demonized. My brother, a Naval officer, described the Clinton administration’s treatment of the military as ‘hemorrhaging talent’ by design. He gave up any idea of a career when Hillary, in the guise of ‘health care reform’ took away life time health benefits as part of the pension of those who served over 20 years. That’s how she treated the military when she was First Lady.
We all saw how she took care of Ambassador to Libya while she was SecState.
It makes perfect sense when held up to the Progressive template; other things are more important than the lives and well-being of a few individuals. In those cases, it was burnishing the First Lady’s resume and protecting the narrative of Obama’s first term. Lives and careers lost? Hey, you gotta break a few eggs…
Think nationalizing Health Care is anathema to liberty? Then you’re not just a homophobic misogynist, you’re also a racist, classist, greedy A-hole who hates children. Everything Bill Clinton’s administration did, they did ‘for the children’. He ‘won’ a debate with the nonsequitur “No attack ever saved a child”, spoken with the same soft southern smarm that passed as deep wisdom in the shallow pools of the press.
“For the Children!”
(Never mind the millions they were destroying every single day in the hallowed halls of their most sacred institution and Margaret Sanger’s brain child: Planned Parenthood.)
What Progressivism has always meant by that is “for the perfect, healthy, white children”. The rest of you defectives and mongrels will be consigned to the ash heap of history the moment you’ve outlived your usefulness.
And all the while he smiled and smiled as he spewed his malicious slander in his soft southern drawl. “Divide and Conquer” was his unspoken motto, a personal addendum to Conform or Die.
And no one stood against him. Not in the press, not in his own party and not even in the loyal opposition, who demonstrated that they were far more fearful of his gentle condemnation than of the people who elected them to office.
Which brings me to Donald Trump.
He’s been a long time coming.
In 1994, during Bill Clinton’s first term, the Republicans won a majority of seats in the House for the first time in 40 years. This happened because I was not the only American who was fed up to the eyebrows with being called a ‘hater’ just because I didn’t want to conform to the Progressive agenda (or die). They were led by Newt Gingrich and his Contract with America.
The Republicans made a halfhearted attempt to fulfill that contract but were unprepared to defend themselves from the attack the Progressive element launched their way. Like good little Alinsky acolytes, the Clintons and their cohorts successfully demonized the Republicans and called them names until they crumpled and caved like a week old bouquet of flowers. They were lead in this by Newt Gingrich, the first Republican Speaker of the House in four decades, who seemed to think his title was really ‘squish of the house’.
Those of us who supported him were pissed.
Eight years of this, including scandals both treacherous and tawdry, leading to an impeachment trial where once again, the Republicans proved they had no stomach for a fight…
Clinton’s behavior did lead to his being disbarred after he left office.
His behavior wasn’t deemed serious enough to remove him from the office of President of the United States but it was enough to remove him from the Arkansas bar. That’s a first, isn’t it? Do you think the fact that he’s been disbarred would deter his wife, if she’s elected First Lady President, from appointing him to the Supreme Court? Who would dare voice an objection? The Republicans? Hahahaha…the press? HAHAHAHA!!
If you think a Justice of the SCOTUS should never have been disbarred is too high a standard, you’re just a hater.
After eight years of those shenanigans, enough Americans were sick of it to put up a vigorous fight and elect George W. Bush by the skin of his teeth and the most contentious election in modern memory. W. seemed to believe that his place in history was to heal the wedge between the factions of Americans that had been fomented by the Clintons and their divisive modus operandi. In the 16 years since that election, the Democrats have honed their election stealing techniques. As things are today, close elections will simply be recounted until they come out correctly. Just as Senator Al Franken (D. MN).
Then came 9/11 and a lot of people were relieved that Al Gore wasn’t president.
But once again, W. seemed to think that proving to the world what a nice guy his is was more important than winning. He had eight years to make a lasting impression on the Middle East but he left things in such a way as to make it easy for the Progressives to undo all of it leaving a void for ISIS to fill.
Obama won reelection singing that General Motors is alive and Osama Bin Laden is dead.
Bin Laden is dead. How’s that working out for the Middle East and Europe? Have you grown used to the videos of people being beheaded, of men, women and children locked in cages and either drowned in pools or burnt to death? Or is everything awesome when you’re watching a screen?
During his first two years in office, Obama had a supermajority in congress: he could pass anything he wanted and the loyal opposition couldn’t stop him. That’s when Obamacare was passed without a single Republican in favor of the government taking control of the health insurance business.
In response, the Republicans had a wave election in 2010 and took back the House.
Nothing changed.
In 2012 The GOP nominated another Mr. Nice Guy to campaign as Mr. Nice President, who refused to put up a fight. Mitt Romney, like John McCain and George W. Bush before him, seemed to believe that the glory of his own goodness would shine so brightly that it spoke for itself and campaigning against his opponent would be crass and rude, not virtues we want in a President.
He got crushed.
In 2014, the GOP had another wave election and took over the Senate.
Those of us opposed to the lawlessness of a President who ignored the separation of powers, who governed by fiat and declaration, who thinks that having a phone and a pen outweighs the will of the people, who enforced only those parts of the law that he liked, who weaponized the IRS, the DOJ and the HHS, had now given both houses of congress to those who would oppose him and they did
NOTHING.
The Affordable Care Act made health insurance less available to more Americans, more expensive and less comprehensive, all the while giving government more control over who could buy what and proving through their websites and exchanges just how incompetent government can be and the branch of the government we elected to stop it did nothing.
Nothing.
The federal government gives Planned Parenthood, which many of us see as a charnel house where human sacrifice is performed for the express purpose of keeping Progressives in power, $500,000,000.00 a year. This makes us, as tax payers, complicit. I object.
Thanks to Obamacare, not only is health care less affordable than ever, even religious organizations are forced to pay for services they believe are evil. The Little Sisters of the Poor should not be forced to buy contraceptive insurance or pay for abortions. Such is the state of religious liberty in the world of Progressivism.
Conform or Die.
I didn’t understand the Trump phenomenon when it started. Like any sane person, I thought “Donald Trump for president? Ick! NO.”
But that was when I was still distracted by personality. Like those who support Hillary, it’s not that they love her or don’t believe any of the charges leveled against her, its because she pushes forward the ideas and agenda they like.
I have to admit: If I believed in the goodness and ability of an all-powerful government I’d vote for Hillary. If I thought life could actually be made fair by passing the right amount of properly worded laws, I’d be with her. If I thought the federal government could actually live up to its promises of providing for people, I’d vote for her. Of course, I’d also have to accept the government’s definition of who is and is not a person. I’d have to buy into the idea that sacrificing human life on the altar of ‘convenience’ and ‘choice’ is a net good.
I don’t.
So I can’t.
Republicans didn’t come out in support of Trump because he’s a wonderful, swell guy; they supported him because from his very first statement, he came out on our side, swinging for the fences. He attacked all the things that have driven us crazy since Bill and Hillary’s first ‘two for the price of one’ administration: political correctness, which erodes our First Amendment rights and flouting our immigration laws, which erodes our culture, sovereignty and election integrity…in short, the future of America itself.
Trump is a sledge hammer, aimed not so much at the Democratic party but at the entire political establishment status quo. All of you who voted for ‘Hope and Change’ last time around; how’s that working out? Trump promises some real changes. That’s why even the Republican establishment is appalled by him. As I’ve said for years: its not a left vs right thing, it’s a Government vs. Citizen thing. Trump is the only guy in the whole, smelly game right now who wants to represent the Citizens.
Trump isn’t a democrat vs. republican candidate; he’s an America vs. the World candidate. If you don’t think the world is coming for us, don’t vote for him.
Here in Minnesota this summer, ten young men of Somali heritage were convicted of being terrorists. They are American citizens but wanted to join ISIS and wage jihad against their fellow Americans. Part of their plan was to open up a route for ISIS to get into the US via Mexica. So don’t kid yourself: racism is NOT the impetus behind a desire for border enforcement. If the Mall of America is attacked, it will be too late for you to apologize for smearing those of us who just wanted to keep us all safe.
Like a lot of other people, I find Trump distasteful. But I’m no different from the Progressive voter who knows Hillary breaks every law that gets in her way and supports her anyway because the agenda is more important than how she got rich: thwarting the Progressive agenda is more important to me than whether or not Trump ever groped a woman against her will.
Despite my distaste for him personally, I have to admit, that when I read the transcripts and accounts of some of his rallies, I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone to campaign the way he has.
Yes. He is an obnoxious, arrogant, loud mouthed bother. But the Right was sick of nominating soft spoken nice guys who believe that actually fighting for what you believe is bad form.
Democrat party voters have been satisfied with being lied to by their elected officials for decades and decades but the Republican base is not. We’re mad as hell and we’re not gonna take it anymore.
In ’12, we nominated St.Romney and he got waxed.
Time to take the gloves off. I was slow to realize that the Trump train was being driven by necessity. Of course he’s a boor; a mealy mouthed, politically correct wimp couldn’t do what needs to be done. When you’re down by two in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded and two outs, you want Babe Ruth, not Lee Mazilli. When the job calls for a Confident, Strong, Callous Braggart, you shouldn’t complain when that’s who shows up to do it.
So that’s who I’m supporting.
Because he’s the only one who stands for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in this election.
Yes, I’m aware that I could be totally wrong about him.
But I’m not even worried about that: if he turns out to be everything Hillary’s people claim; a racist, misogynistic xenophobic fascist, he won’t be allowed to do anything about it. The GOP has proved itself incapable of standing up to its’ opponents but the Democratic party has that down to a science. If Trump should turn out to be every bit as criminal, self centered and lawless as the Clintons have been for three decades, the Left will stop him, not because they disapprove of those things but because only those who are declared Progressives are allowed to get away with it.
In other words, Hillary would be untouchable as president. She would face no opposition from either party or the press. She could rule as imperially as the Chinese emperors did. But President Trump will face the opposition of both parties, the press and the ticked off voters who put him in office if he turns out to be other than what he’s said he would be.
So if you support human sacrifice because the ends justify the means, vote for Hillary.
If you want to take a human sledge hammer to the entire corrupt system, vote for Trump and hold him accountable.
Before tomorrow’s election, here’s one last thought: when we elected our First Black President, Michael Jackson and Prince were planning tours. Oprah ruled the airwaves. Tiger Woods was at the top of the leader board and Bill Cosby was a revered public Icon. Now Michael and Prince are dead, Oprah’s nowhere to be seen, Tiger hasn’t won a major since ’08, Bill Cosby’s name is synonymous with monster and we have an actual political movement to protest that Blacks are being routinely gunned down by police.
I fear that electing Hillary as our First Female president will do the same for American women as Obama’s administration has done for blacks.
The flood of Islamic ‘refugees’* into Europe has resulted in a new normal that consists of women and children being raped in public, non Islamic women going covered just to avoid the hassle, the severe curtailing of any speech or activity that might be construed as offensive to Islam and a rise in the call for Sharia law.
Hillary is on record as wanting to open our gates to that very flood.
Demographics is destiny and the future belongs to those who show up.
So show up at the polls tomorrow but be careful: you’ll get what you vote for.
*Our military recognized an invading force when they saw it.
