I only bring all that up because a week ago, I wouldn’t have had the energy to do a third of that in a single day. Two weeks ago, any one of those items would have been enough for me to call it a day and collapse in front of the TV set.
So it’s official: the horrible illness that has had me in its claws since early April has finally left the building!
Oh, I still have to blow my nose occasionally and once or twice a day, I’ll clear my throat but all that is small potatoes compared to the fact that my energy levels are back up with the rest of the alive people.
The new dining set on the deck looks spectacular. What used to be a little bit beaten up, champagne colored set with pale green cushions is now sharp, black, up to the minute with swirly blue cushions.
Maybe today, we’ll put the swing back together.
Right now, the view out my front window is all blue skies and green trees. The trees in the park are so full I can barely see the park house and the sunshine on the lilac bush outside the window makes the blooms a white so brilliant I have no idea how I’d paint them.
Spring is here and I’m alive: bring it.
